Whats your favourite?

I love Staffies (used to have 2), such lovely dogs! I also like Labradors, especially the chocolate coloured ones, cute cute cuuute!!

I love the pug and the British bulldog.

Springer spaniels for me!

Schnauzer - because they don't shed or cause allergies too much (OH is allergic) and they have faces full of character.

I love Labradors they are so cute and you never hear them bark. Lovely animals

black labradors! i'm biased cause i have one though he is beautiful, intelligent, and lovable to extremes. aww.

I love Beagles and also NSDTRs but they are very rare.

Springer Spaniels - daft as a brush and so full of energy

Labs and Border Collies are my favourites.

Many breeds seem to have physical or psychological (temperament) problems. What's the healthiest, sanest breed? Am I right to think that Border Terriers haven't been messed about too much by the breeders? I don't have a dog at the moment, but I'm tempted to get one.

My sister has a border, they are typically very hardy, happy healthy dogs. And immensely cute!

Border Terrier or Cocker Spaniel would have been my choice had I gone down the puppy route. Instead I went to the local dog home and got a 'whippety/lurchery/spaniel' mix. He is certainly unique.
I love Border Collies and Springer Spaniels but thought they would be a bit too much like hard work.
