it works fine, however its got automatic updates OFF and has software 3.9 on it.

can i extract it? if anyone would like it?

I am going to go give the twinrec a go.

if that doesn't work to my satisfactory then i'll move to 4.9 (I dont like the colours of 5.3, is 5.6 still that indigo blue?)

just wondered if nayone would want it.

AFAIK, there is no way of transferring the software off the PVR . I can't quite remember what was wrong with 3.9, but it is pretty buggy, or maybe I'm getting confused with 3.5. But anyway, 5.6 is recommended.

And, yes, all the versions of the single record software use the light blue colour scheme, unlike the twin record software which uses the same darker blue scheme as the T816 and T825.

updated successfully to TwinRec V1

much better colour interface, search is just genius.

EPG is slower to populate, with half of 4 days missing but thats only on channels I dont watch so im kool with that.

Interactivity is working fine, can't fault it. BBCI is a tad slower now (just loading - menus are fine), but I expected that.

the move facility is good but deadly, if a channel exists in a slot already it seemed to remove it, and i ended up loosing BBC4 and had to rescan to get it back.

its settled down now and its much better on TwinRec.

can't fault it.
