Mince, Salt, Pepper
Best for smaller/thin patties as big ones would dry out. |

Mince, breadcrumbs, 1 egg, grated cheese (according to taste), salt, pepper.
Mix the whole lot up in a bowl. Refrigerate, shape and put on a baking tray in the oven. Gorgus! |

I use good steak mince, black pepper and grated red onion- just half a small one, nice flavour and keeps it moist too

Steak mince, half teaspoon of mustard, splash of Worchester sauce and some pepper. A dash of tabsco if you fancy it with a lil kick.
Serve it with american mustard, mayo, relish, onion, crispy bacon and lettuce. Oh I might have to have burgers for dinner now. |

That's probably the best thing with homemade burgers. You can half or quarter the mince and experiment.

Lean lamb mince, some freshly chopped mint leaves, some finely sliced seeded chillis, salt, pepper, and nice bun.

The key is to use good quality lean mince, pork, beef or lamb, turkey at a push whichever is your choice.

I'd recommend the burger maker from Lakeland - makes the burgers really firm so they don't fall apart when you cook them

Most burgers you purchase in shops are filled with absolute rubbish.
Your safe with Mcdonalds burgers, because their not allowed to be filled with rubbish anymore - Maccy D's got told off for it years ago. |

Onion is essential in my book. It isn't a burger without onion.
Quality of the mince is not as important as some people think. You want to avoid gristle but fatty mince is fine as the fat all comes out when you cook it. |
