Silvercrest 8 in 1 remote learning problem
I bought one of these Silvercrest universal remotes on spec at LIDL a few hours ago. Well, I figured that for £4.99 even if it only controlled only one of my devices then it was going to be worth it, and I only really wanted it to replace a decaying Technics remote where the keys have got so unresponsive, it fail to respond half the time. OK, so I'm more than happy; it controls at least two of my pieces of equipment!
![]() I have a problem with the remote, though, and don't know if anyone else has encountered this too? When I put it into LEARN mode to programme my Sony 40W3000 TV it tells me it has SUCCESS but then the programmed key fails to do anything. Do you think I have a duff unit? Or is this a common occurrence with Sony equipment and Silvercrest? I've got a "One For All" controller which does learn the Sony keys without a problem. Weirdly, the Silvercrest has managed to learn a couple of keys on my Technics remote that the "One For All" couldn't. Any ideas? Perhaps there is an updated code that I can use for the TV? |
