Problem with TV.
Recently ( 3/4 years ago) there was a notice on how to change the Sky aspect ration from 27/9 or whatever it was to 16/9 for widescreen TV's, like mine.. And now I'm starting to regret it. Only just now I'm starting to realize the terrible mistake. I only really noticed when the new DOG's came out, and they were sort of out of view. So I downloaded a program, and I saw an inches left and right I never noticed before. I would change it, but I can't! Help! (And, no there is nothing wrong with the aspect ratio on my actual TV which is set to WIDE SCREEN (that's not ZOOM 16:9, just 16:9). Anyway, HELP!

just go into picture settings on your Sky box and change it to 16:9.
A widescreen broadcast will fit on the screen fine although (with your TV set to 16:9) you will get 4;3 broadcasts being stretched to fit the wide Tv - whether you alter the TV to AUTO or not is down to personal preference. Rgds, Scorp |
