Mallet about to smash down on mine. Deleted a watched recording whilst it was recording two programs. Result - two "invalid recording removed"messages re the programs it was recording and "Corrupt recording removed" which referred to the completely uncorrupt recording I had just watched

I'm sick of my box, I had the thommo purely for Setanta, and everytime I set it to record it fails, useless piece of equipment, just wish I could get hold of the new "black" version

No wonder they've been pushing their 'clever little set top recorder' on my Digifusion epg!

not everyone has these problems.....most people post to complain, and rarely post to compliment

Persisting with it due to the alternatives I was looking at not being perfect either judging by posting in the other sub-forums. Have only had one more corrupted recording - last Saturdays Timewatch for some reason. For those annoyed by the noise (and electric costs) I have found sticking it on a timer to go off late at night and come back on at 1050 keeps a complete program guide and has the added bonus of missing TUTV promos.

t's always worth looking in sub-forums Mike_P you never know what helpful tips you might find and it helps to compare your equipment with others! I would not have found the digital spy forums concerning my digifusion box if I hadn't it is a really helpful site. This is a compliment Ironeagleuk

Of course no sooner than I posted the last message than it goes pear shaped again. A recording on Sunday evening had been automatically deleted whilst deleting a program I had just finished viewing at 10 to 10 last night resulted in the box rebooting (thankfully it was not attempting to record anything at the time). This latter espidode apart it seems to be that it cannot cope with recording two programs and having the library viewed/deleted etc or recording one program and viewing BBCi.

How can your new TV take TUTV? TUTV is only available via the PVR now.

Sorry, that will not work.

TUTV will only work with a TUTV box, it is the software inside the box that makes TUTV and the software is only available inside a TUTV box.

Top up Tv will work with any recordable box, you will have to manually scan the EPG to record any programmes available though.

Do that once a week and you only get what you want recorded on your box, and it will be 100x more reliable than the TUTV box!
