Is this even possible to do? I'll have an attempt at it, but I know I'm going to be missing off atleast thirty of my favourite songs ever. Anyway

1. Across The Universe
2. Strawberry Fields
3. In My Life
4. Ticket To Ride
5. Rain

Whats yours?

This really is mission impossible! Here are 5 that I never tire of hearing:

Eleanor Rigby
A Day in the Life
And your bird can sing
Happiness is a warm gun
She’s leaving home

Nothing pre Revolver – outrageous!

Quickly without thinking about it too much:

1. In My Life - sends shivers down the spine
2. Hey Bulldog - great guitar, they're having so much fun at the end (listen)
3. I Am The Walrus - JL - "I could have been the pudding basing for all I care... it's just gobbledygook." Great through.
4. Long Long Long (from George) - aching with longing.
5. Yes It Is - from the early days... harmonious!

I googled the Beatles discography and had a look through the singles, and I couldn't even come up with five that I really liked that much. Some I absolutely hated.By far the best stuff was on the albums and it actually became a hard choice for just five.In the end I chose....

1. I Am The Walrus
2. Strawberry Fields Forever
3. Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds (LSD,anyone?!)
4. Long And Winding Road
5. Nowhere Man (the story of my life...)

I noticed looking at the track listings for the White Album, there is one Lennon/McCartney song called Happiness Is A Warm Gun.That is just so ironic and unbelievably sinister, considering the final outcome for Lennon.

Also on the White Album,(obviously I Am The Walrus was a strange title),that was nothing compared to ...Everybody's Got Something To Hide Except For Me And My Monkey! I don't know what they were taking when they wrote that one.

Almost as ironic as the original US gatefold sleeve for Magical Mystery Tour, which has a picture of John Lennon standing in front of a advertisement saying "MDC is the way to go". Anyway, I just about managed to get it down to 6........

A Day In The Life
We Can Work It Out
Tomorrow Never Knows
Hey Jude
Here Comes The Sun
I Am The Walrus

too many to choose from but my fave beatles song ever is Helter Skelter from the white album (the beatles) .
i first heard it on a paul mccartney tour video in the early 90's.when i realized it was written in the late 60's it blew my mind !!
a truly great song !!

1. Here Comes The Sun
2. Blackbird
3. Helter Skelter
4. Hey Jude
