How many of you sponsor wild animals? I sponsor a Bengal Tiger through WWF and am in the process of adopting a Snow Leopard. I donate to the Snow Leopard trust, but haven't actually adopted one yet...

i sponsored an orangutan for my sister for a year and a panda for my husband from WWF.

i got a WWF catalogue through the other day and realised all my xmas shopping can be done in one hit

I must look into this as I would love to do it.

I sponsor a Kemp's Ridley turtle for £3 a month. The Marine Conservation sent me 2 little turtle teddy bears and a sticker for my car.

My son sponsored an elephant for me, I have sponsored a polar bear for my husband and a snow leopard for my niece. I am now bombarded with letters from both organisations (can't remember the names off hand), now it's nice to get updates but they must have spent far more on postage, packaging, clerical workers etc than I ever paid in the first place so I'm a bit sceptical about how much this actually helps the animals or if it just keeps someone in a job!
