I saw them both battle a truly awful sound system at Haydock on a very wet night in June and they were both great - and very different to each other.

Brenda and Journey South was better IMO than anyone who have won X factor but they didnt win because they didnt fit into Simons cash cow.

Well they didn't have the potential to be international superstars, so they didn't fit into the criteria for winning the show. (That's not to say that all the others have had this potential).
