Ahh probably due the old geezers I work with that I was under the impression that Faggots were still going strong up north.

Just looked at the recipe, no wonder it's gone out of fashion, nobody seems to eat offal anymore, never even heard of caul.

Oh back to the OP.

Have you tried only feeding after the dog's had it's walk, make it work for the food.

Well I live in South Wales and we eat faggots either from the butchers or pre-packed from the supermarket about once every 4/5 months. They are great with extra gravy, mushy peas and mashed potatoes.

OP, I would go to the vet too, it's worth the cost to put your mind at rest. They will check the dog thoroughly to see if there might be a real problem which needs treatment. It's surprising how 'sensitive' our pets are sometimes. So it could turn out to be psychological rather than physical.

My eldest dog has become even more demanding in the attention dept. since we had our latest rescue seven months ago. He is determined that she will not get more than her half share of fusses from us. He even paces the room whinning if she choses to sleep in the basket we gave her when she arrived. He prefers it to his own now.
