I watch anything with dance in it

In that programme 'down and dirty' does not mean authentic. It simply relates to the movie and was coined by the delicious Sean.

Their salsa moves were genuine but the added 'Baby and Johnny' factor is a one off.

You should be able to dance with anyone and be at least convincing. Chemistry makes it great.

Not trying hard enough is sloppy, unless you are doing a style which is utterly new to you and which you simply cannot 'get'.

For instance, I will never be able to do street dance or hip hop but an authentic tango is totally me.

I agree - and I think if Cody and Julianne could pull a fairly decent rhumba off, then Susan and Tony should have been able to as well. If there's no chemistry, well, act like there is - it's your day job after all!! I appreciate this may have been harder for Mark and Kim, as she's not an actress. I do think though, that she took it for granted that she would be naturally sexy, given that is how she's usually described, and I don't think she's evey considered what actually makes someone 'sexy'.
