can anyone recommend a dvd player with a usb port for playing the odd movie.
Cheap n cheerful or expensive,i dont really mind

The Philips one I mentioned in that thread is still selling for £40 in the high street (Currys) .... which is a bargain, it'll play pretty much anything you throw at it. (Not multi-region out of the box from Curry but simple to enable it with a remote hack)

i have just got a sumvision phoenix from SVP.Great little player and only £26 with a website affiliate discount i got.

Been really pleased with it so far,plays films or TV progs straight from my USB stick
