I don't mind the extra 10 minutes - the more X Factor there is, the better!

I would like to see the group performances - I always enjoy them on American Idol without taking them seriously.

Now on Digital Spy's TV Guide:
The X Factor: Live Show 1
Saturday 11th October at 7:15pm on ITV 1
After weeks of auditions, two days of boot camp and make-or-break performances at the judges' houses, the final 12 acts have been chosen - and now the competition really begins. Dermot O'Leary presents as the hopefuls perform live on TV for the first time, singing UK and US number ones in a bid to win viewers' votes and impress the judges, who will each be siding with their own acts while no doubt giving their frank opinions of the others. The result can be seen at 10pm.

The X Factor: Live Show 1 - The Results
Saturday 11th October at 10:00pm on ITV 1
Last year's winner Leon Jackson performs his new single, before Dermot O'Leary reveals the viewers' verdict, putting the two acts with the fewest votes at the mercy of the judges in the first sing-off of the series. It was at this point last year that Sharon Osbourne walked out and refused to vote when two of her acts landed in the bottom two. Whether this outcome will be equally dramatic remains to be seen.
So confirmation that the Live Show Results are on Saturday evenings!

Apologies if already posted.

No apologies necessary spiidey from me anyway, as I didn't know when it was on, so thanks for saying. -hug- Pity about the 7.15pm start as it's a tad early for me, but will make sure I'm indoors.

That's quite late for an X Factor live show actually - they'll be starting earlier in the following weeks I expect, it's just the football is delaying the schedule.

It looks like they'll all start after 7pm this year, after all it was 7.45pm tonight, and they have a lot to cram in before XF (plus there's BBC1 to take into account).

Interesting to see how they play it.

The live shows have the best possible start though. Following an England match, no Strictly clash - it can't not do well.

I will prefer it if the live shows start after 7 to be honest. Perfect timing for an X Factor live show in my opinion, with the results in a 10pm slot... as long as it doesn't clash with Strictly!

As long as they dont shift it forward ten minutes like last year I'll be happy.

They completely ruined Kims chances with that

Nope, that's standard for the first show - they need it to be that long to fit in 12 performances.

It gradually comes down in time until the final 5 usually (since at that point, all 5 acts get 2 songs).
