My Panasonic 42PX60 is only 2 years old but today it came up with all funny colours so I had to unplug it. It's OK now but, in case it's getting ready to die, what's the best TV to replace it with?

I'd like my next TV to have more accurate flesh tones (the Pana seems a little red even after professional calibration) - does their newer models give better flesh tones?

This set looks crisper with HD and SD material when set to 720p as opposed to 1080i. Will the newer 1080p sets be better?

Is Panasonic the best bet or will I get better flesh colour with a Pioneer?

Is 100Hz any good? I watch a lot of SD TV. The Pana's internal freeview picture is not too good - cheap upscaler in this TV?

Bottom line, I'm looking for a plasma TV that has as natural a colour profile as my CRT TV's and my Apple TFT display.

Any recommendations welcome
