Andrew was head-butting the air in mid-dance.
The audience too.

Terrible choice of music, strange choreography by Ola and a robotic delivery by Andrew.

Very poor.

That was a bad choice of music and routine in the circumstances - ie. it was asking a lot for a novice dancer and non-actor to carry that off. I thought Andrew had a real go at it and I commend him for giving it 100%.
He was struggling with the Tango all week. You can see the difficulties tall men have with it.
I hope he stays in. He danced well enough last week to show some potential. This was a bad dance for him, but his courage in 'going for it' is the right attitude.

What's the number for Andrew?

Want to vote but can't find it anywhere and no one is telling me

I'd rather kill myself than tell you.

Oh dear, he was rather embarassing. I feel for his kids.

I think they will be proud of him. He is someone without previous experience, who gave it every thing he could.

He had a very strange facial expression throughout the dance...

Not quite as strange as the face Gary was pulling at the beginning of his jive though

I have no idea what the headbutting was about, but a few hours later it's still making me giggle

It was too intense like Kenny Logan last year.
Ola seems to see tango as aggressive rather than passionate

I didn't like his performance tonight at all. I didn't like the choice of music, he looked way too tense and what on earth was the head banging all about?!

It looked like he was trying to stop his head heading for Ola's bosoms.

It was a very strange and 'hide behind your cushion' moment.

That performance of Andrew's tonight was the most unintentionally hilarious performance I have seen in years. The tears were flowing down my face... I was in hysterics.....his bum was sticking out something dreadful... and he had that mass murderer's face on.........dear god.... and when the head banging started... I near slipped a disc with the hysterics. Oh boy was it worth it... I do hope someone has Utubed it !!!!

I wish Andrew would lighten up a little.I understand he wants to do his best for not only himself but also Ola,but he really needs to start enjoying the dance, and the music.
I don't want Ola out yet as I think she's a great dancer, and hubby would be devastated along with the rest of the male population

He's no dancer, is he? He should get himself out of SCD as quickly as possible and sneak off to mine for a night of comfort and consolation and then we can practice the tango naked (although I'd rather roll around the sheets with him )

Actually, I've just gone on That Site and watched the dance (which I managed to blink and miss tonight ) and it wasn't that bad.

What the Op says about no smile - well it's the Tango, you're not actually supposed to smile when you're doing it, it's not that kind of dance.

Regarding his bottom, well my computer screen probably needs cleaning and I haven't loaded my video drivers since reinstalling all my stuff after an HD reformat two weeks ago, but I thought some of that was just his suit. He was nowhere near as bad as he had been rehearsals, although the judges did pick up on it and I agree there was some of that, but not as bad as some on here are saying.

Just my opinion. I'm sticking up for the Castle here (oh, and a note to Mrs Castle, I was only joking about the naked Tango thing )

Very poor judgement by Ola to include that ridiculous head butting in the choreography, worse then Karen and the piano playing in week one.

I know it was the tango and they are not meant to smile but poor Andrew looked like he was in pain or constipated

Not keen on the cheorography either, head banging looked wrong
