Your going to Ireland!
Cannnes, St Tropez, Barbados and Ireland
A lovely country to visit but why doesn't he ever take his category any further? Looks like it was Easyjet too. |

In series 1, they did keep it local. Louis still went to Dublin, but Sharon just took hers to the Osbournes estate in Birmingham and Simon had them at his London mansion. But they have been trying to make these stages bigger and more dramatic for years as Simon mentioned in a recent interview. |

Lol I was just thinking that! I would be well miffed off if I had to go to Ireland when everyone else got Barbados and St Tropez!
![]() Louis is such a cheap skate. Why Ireland? Sharon used to take hers to Hollywood and last one year Simon took his to Miami. |

I laughed so loud when I saw their faces upon opening the letter that said Ireland!!!
![]() But actually out of all the places on todays show, I think I would have most like to have sung in that castle. Not nice singing in hot weather. I would have melted. |

C14E is right, they do it for grandeur.
They need to send them to a country that is "associated" in some way with the judge - Ireland is the obvious choice for Louis. And he must like it - I mean if he insisted on taking his acts somewhere else, I'm sure - given he's been a judge for the full 5 series - ITV would allow him to do so. |

It was a cheap laugh when compared to the other destinations and it's obvious who is going to be their mentor
if they want a real dud destination they should tell them they are going to Peckham* *apologies to all peckham residents haha |

As if they should
They're more likely to be thankful that they're in the final 24.
They should be happy to go to Baghdad should it be needed. Now is not the time to get pretentious. |

You honestly think the judges(aside from Simon) pay for any of this? It's not his fault. |

Didn't Sharon take her group to the Dorchester one year or did I just dream that one up?
Did it have something to do with her home in LA being damaged by fire? I've probably got this all wrong ...lol |

That's what I thought (see my original post above)
and I seem to remember that they did their singing bit in some old looking shabby theatre ...lol .. or was that just the Dorchester needing a bit of refurbishment? |
