Don't think they had time in a 90 minute show with adverts. I am sure the one crying scene cut the girls bit down by 5 minutes.

Yes because he will be crying in the interview before the results. He will cry talking to Simon, cry after Simon has told him his fate. Cry on the plane home. Cry in the car home. Cry walking up to his house gate. Cry walking up his houses steps. Cry walking through his door. Cry with family.

I love his voice but he needs to control the tears. There has never been anyone worse than him. It's to much.

Rachel was awful. She should not make the final 12.

Laura was really good.

Diana annoys me with her oh so pretentious "breathy" vocals.

Daniel should not get through as the the token male as the females in the over25s (besides Rachel) are really good.

I thought Liam was still very very good, but I was surprised at how weak Mali and Eoghan were. I wouldn't be surprised if Liam gets to the final 3 or 4.

There wereother good people but I already knew they were good so it made no difference

The lead girl in Bad lashes suprised me! I loved them singing that and I hadn't liked the before I heard them last night

Watching it at the mo on ITV1. Ruth only sounds good in Spanish - she sounded like she's shouting when she sings in English. I thought the last girl group to sing (name escapes me - not Bad Lashes) and Priority sounded awful.

Bad Lashes really impressed me last night. I'm genuinely surprised as I didn't think much of them before.

How dose she in any way resemble either of them? That's even more bizarre than the Leona/Christina comparisons. Neither Avril nor Christina in particular would ever sing in that fussy, whispery way.

She's starting to look like an over-botoxed drag queen.

I can't say any of them shocked me, but the ones who were good:

Laura, Ruth, Alexandra, Diana, Suzie. The girls are very strong this year. Rachel's a good singer but there's something about that girl I've gone off.

JLS would be OK if they could bring more of the energy they have off-stage onto it..... maybe it's just nerves.

The boys were dire.... Austin's desperate and it's not appealing and I don't like any of the other groups. The girl groups are just all generic and nothing different.... I can't tell one from the other actually.

What the heck was Anastacia thinking too... throwing herself all over the floor??

Maybe Ruth could sing her songs in part English/Spanish (1 verse English/1 Spanish).

Priority was horrendously bad.
Eoghan was weak.
