His teeth are fine!

So you'd rather he came back with a mouth full of porcelain dentures a la Cowel?

It annoys me because I am certain it is fake. He cries too much and he cries at everything. It isn't natural.

There was also a post on here by somebody who used to know him who said he used to be proud of his ability to turn on the tears on demand.

Not only fake but he looks so desperate when he starts crying. He needs to hold himself together because he can't carry on bringing out the tears everytime he sings, or when the judges praise & criticise him. He is a bloody man and needs to get a grip!

But if he is being fake, i am sure we will see the baby tears disappear once the live show starts.

Good voice, but can't stand the tears. That really put me off him.

The tears have to stop.”

I like him but he does cry a lot! So does Alexandra, I hope they both stop with the crying now that they are through to the live shows.

He is awful and I can't help but feel it's all put on. It's obvious he think's he's 'it' and it's obvious he loves himself. The crying doesn't suite him and it comes across as desperate and false. It's going to backfire on him IMO.

What annoyed me about Austin was when he looked in the judges eyes at bootcamp and did his usual sad puppy face and went 'please don't take my dream away from me'. It was just fake and he was putting emotional blackmail on to the judges. He knew what he was doing. Simon is right, he comes across as too desperate

His tears are beginning to bore me, its ok to be emotional of course, but not at every little thing. It is growing weary now and people will just get annoyed with it (however this is also partly due to the editing process, they have made sure they put every bit of crying in to - I don't know, make the audience feel sorry for him - well I don't)

Don't be so ridiculous, his teeth look fine. Dentures would ruin how he looks. It certainly did with Ronan Keating and Matthew Perry.

Yes and I am glad someone else has noticed this too! Austin was not the only guilty culprit either. It just made all of them sound unpleasant somehow. They could have said "well I would love to get through" or "I wouldn't mind it" But these tear-drenched expressions and then the doleful eyes look at the interviewer and they say "I want this. I really want it. More than anything" TBH it got tedious in the end and I was really willing someone to come out with something different. Anyway, back to Austin. I have the strangest feeling he is going to be completely different in the live shows as to how he has portrayed himself in the audition/boot camp shows. It looks like he has already had an appearance transformation, because when they showed him briefly at the end of last Saturday's show, his hair looked longer at the front and much darker. If he persists in bursting in to tears after each performance people are going to wonder what on earth is wrong with him. Yes, he may get the sympathy votes but it will be people sympathising with him that the competition is obviously far too much for him to cope with, so they will send him home in week 1 or week 2 of the live shows

I said to my teenage Daughter, I hope he doesn't break down crying in every live show. It would be awful for him and us.

It's really annoying me to. I LOVE his voice. I think hes got the best male voice there by a gazillion miles but I just can't stand him. He drives me crazy. It's ok to cry. When Ruth cried at the end of her True Colours song, I shed a tear to. But Austin cries at least three times every show. Before his performance, after his performance and then again at some random time. Also the lines he comes out with like "Please don't take this away from me". He just comes across as so desperate and it's very unlikeable. Im starting to think it's really fake. He was an actor. It could really back fire against him on the live shows.

Both him & the other pansy turner need to grab a snickers. This is the X Factor for singing not the F**king Bawl your eyes Britain's Got Cry Babies Factor.

With any luck all the cry babies will be kicked off & let the talent get on with the singing.
