As I think about going to the canteen for brunch, I've been wondering what people consider to be the perfect breakfast.

For me it's simply some nicely poached eggs with toast.

What's yours?

My perfect breakfast when on holiday is
Cornflakes followed by
Bacon, sausage, fried egg, baked beans and fried bread with loads of tomato ketchup
and some toast with loads of butter to follow.
Its a good job I don't go on holiday much to eat all this healthy stuff.
Normally I just have cereal or toast and sometimes go mad and have boiled egg and toast.

When on holiday in this country nothing beats a full English but when abroad nothing beats a continental.

I loved Paris with their danish pastries and croissants for breakfast- yummy

Normally I have a boring old banana and yoghurt

That's what I had today. Was nice.

Don't usually eat much in the mornings.

Can't say I have a perfect breakfast.

I just know although I like the smell of a fried breakfast, I don't really enjoy them.

Ditto! I love the smell of cooking bacon but only actually eat it a few times a year.

I very rarely have a fry-up as I don't really like them but when I do I always enjoy them for me the perfect fry-up would be

1 fried egg, small serving scrambled egg, bacon, cumberland sausage, hash brown, baked beans with wholemeal toast to mop up. I'd also have red sauce and a little brown too

I guess the reason I don't have fry-ups very much is because I am such a pig LOL

Eggs benedict, freshly squeezed orange juice and good coffee, preferably eaten in New York.
