Rachel managed to look boring. That girl needed a Louisa jive dress. Remember that short green thing? Fab!

Camilla's black concoction was mad. I thought maybe the skirt-bit was for pulling off at some point - it looked so bulky. She does wear some bizarre things, she really does.

Erin's was OTT in terms of colour. Didn't like Christine's.

Am in the "put them away" camp as regards boobs. We've seen 'em, girls. Put them away now, please.

Good point from Stella Street above about Matt's lanky hair. Time for a good cut, mate!

I know Cherie is a bit older than the others, but they gave her such a mumsy dress. From what we can see, she looks to have great legs, so why not a shorter dress, or shorter sleeves - just to help the salsa mood a bit?

And Jodie, so tall and elegant, but they keep giving her dresses that make her look as though she's got no waist. I was expecting something much more classically empire line for last night, but they missed the chance.
Loved Ian's outfit, but maybe some riding boots!

I thought Lisa's dress was actually problematic last night - due to the amount of material, the split and the length it actually made her foot work look messy imo. The tango should be sharp and the dress detracted from that.

Camilla looked lovely last night. Finally, she has worn something worthy of a positive comment!

Jodie's Waltz dress was beautiful, as was Christine's American Smooth dress.

Wow! I thought Camilla's dress was awful, if she got too close to the spotlights she'd have caught fire.

Jodie's dress was a beautiful colour, but it was totally wrong for her shape, it made her stomach look enormous. And it made her look more boxy with huge shoulders.

I liked Christine's dress, but I hated those net gloves, they keep giving them to the women and they look cheap and nasty.

Yes, if I am going to make one criticism, the dress made her hips look enormous.

Yes, and I got bitched about on the Team Cutler thread for saying it. Pathetic!

But anyhoo this week…for the less sensitive souls
Tom and Camilla - his spatz and white tie made him look like he was wearing a white t-shirt and trainers which gave them the youthful Billy Elliot feel they were going for, but I thought it appeared too casual.
Austin and Erin - cover up the chest Erin my love
Christine and Matt - the frills looked good for the jive. I liked her quiff hairstyle which suited the song and dance
Rachel and Vincent - I really liked her dress but her make up aged her a few years and would it have hurt Vincent so much to have a shave.
Lisa and Brendan - I thought she looked completely stunning - the black and white, the gloves, loved it. Her “necklace” was a bit tacky and I don’t know why they went for flesh coloured straps that were clearly visible. But she wore it all very well

I thought Erin looked incredible. What a figure that woman has.

Camilla continues to astound me with horrible dresses week on week.

Lisa's was stunning.

Ditto.
Plus I didn't like Jodie's outfit. That particular blue flatters few people.

The "invisible" straps are highly obtrusive this series. No longer do I marvel at how they don't fall out of their frocks. It's plain for all to see these days. That little mystery which so tantalised me is now just another shattered illusion.

Erin, Jodie, Rachel and Kristina looked wonderful once again tonight .

I agree on Camilla. She is beautiful and has an incredible figure to die for, yet they give her unflattering shapes and colours . Her Quickstep dress was disgusting.

Indeed, Lisa looked stunning, and for me, it was the best dress of the night to go alongside the best dance of the night .

I think Lisa has definitely got the best of the styling this year. They must really love her in the wardrobe department.

Her modelling past must help in this department, clothes tend to look good on her.

Lisa looked very elegant in her black and white dress last night as she glided around the dance floor. It was a perfect dress for the dance.

Kristina and Erin also looked amazing last night (but they do most weeks)!!

The only dress I was not keen on was poor Jodie’s blue and purple one, it looked tacky and cheap. The earrings didn’t help either!

^^ I think she gets a lot of say in what she wears. And as a supermodel, one would hope she has decent fashion sense and she does. I think she always looks great.

I think she was trying to detract attention away from Austin.

No not keen on Jodie's either. It really didn't look good. I think the dress designers are just putting her in anything...unfortunately

LOL It didn't work though. I still didn't think much of Austin's rumba

Lisas dress was the best it really suited her.

Worst was probably Christines, i didnt like the yellow colour. I wasnt that fond of jodies dress either.

Joanna Leunis, half of the pro couple who did the demo Cha Cha.

It is her own dress, I always love what she wears in competition and shows!

I'd do a round of anti doping tests on the costume department: pretty much all the dresses were good, with a few brilliant ones (Rachel's, Lisa's and Camilla's). Even the not-so-great ones like Jodie's still made her look good.
I'm amazed, especially after the week before, when we had a string of unmitigated disasters.

Totally agree. She sometimes wears less than wonderful creations, but Sunday night's dress was fantastic. I agree that Lisa's dress was also wonderful and so suited their dance.

Actually I liked Christine's dress. I thought the colour suited the colour they'd sprayed onto her skin as well. Certainly suited her hair colour, and showed off her legs which I hadn't noticed as being so shapely before. V. nice indeed! More please.
