I thought last Saturday was a super night dress-wise.
There were the usual odd exceptions! Cherie's being the one that most clearly sticks in mind. The silvery bits looked tacky. Actually I think they age her a bit with those dresses. The one I liked in her was the Rumba. She looks far better with her hair down. I wasn't too fussed on Heather's tango dress either. Something about the colour of it. Anyway, I thought Camilla looked great (though more the shape of the dress than the colour). I loved Rachel's dress and the way they had her made up. So 1940s. She pulled it off beautifully. But this week's prize has to go to Lisa's dress. It was thoroughly gorgeous. I think one of my all time favourites, and again her hair and make-up matched wonderfully. Somehow the VW dresses always seem so memorable. |

Well yet again Erin comes out with an absolute stunner on. Rachel's was well done too - revealing without being too awful.
I don't think they got the lengths right tonight in some cases - Lisa's was too short and I don't think it helped accentuate the bounce, Jodie's was too long to see her footwork, Rachel's was long enough for her to tread on which is always dangerous. Camilla has clearly upset someone somewhere because she had a shocker on again. |

Erin's was to die for, but not keen on Camilla's. The colour was nice, but not sure about the style. Why does she always do high-necked stuff? It's not that flattering a style to anybody.
Loved the colour of Kristina's dress, she looked like a princess. She really suits hot pink. Rachel's was fab too. Sexy and revealing without being too OTT, loved the little chiffony train thing. |

Loved Jodie's red dress - she looked great this week. However, for me best dress of the night goes to Erin - I loved it! Kristina looked fabulous again – but then she is!
I wasn't keen on Lisa's dress - which is a first because I usually think she looks great. I did not like Cherie's either - looked a bit cheap and tacky. Not sure about Camilla's dress, or Rachel's... Christine's looked nice. |

Camilla seems very partial to fringing, especially in the chest area. |

Erin's dress was gorgeous. Jodie looked like a spangly duvet cover again. Rachel was sexy but not slutty. Cherie, I'm sorry say, looked a bit like a kerb-crawler. I always think if I were on the show (and a woman) I would hate to go out in the week where I had a horrid dress. I'd run backstage and change quickly for the final dance! I thought Lisa's dress was fun, but not especially a favourite, and Christine's was a bit middle-of-the-road as her ballroom dresses tend to be. Last week I think was generally better for dresses, but Erin's was one of the best this series.

Erin - Didn't like it, seemed a bit mish-mash
Camilla - Hated the fringey bits, she seemed overdressed.... Rachel - Seemed like her backside was hanging out at the back. Too much flesh showing. Christine - Pink, blah and forgettable. Cherie - Cheap and a bit tarty. The fringey bits made me laugh. It didn't suit her, but it showed she has a great figure and a fine chest. ![]() Kristina - Liked the style of it, like Roman style dresses, not keen on the colour though. Jodie - Liked it but thought there was too much fabric that hid some dodgy footwork. The way it moved reminded me of the movement of jellyfish. Lisa - Horrid tangerine colour and stiff (bit like the dance the first time round) felt it didn't allow her to move freely. |

REVIVED for essential costumery discussion.
Show: 29/11 Rachel: Waltz: Um, a bit revealing at the front (but I guess if you like that sort of thing) but I love the big princess bell shape they are using with a lot of her dresses. It suits her very well because she's so mini. Like the dresses you see on tacky jewellery boxes. Maybe that's not such a compliment! Paso was ok but not amazing. Lisa: Liked the foxtrot number; classy and elegant as always. You can see why she was/is a model as clothes just fall on her so well. Cha cha seemed Jill Cha Cha inspired. Chuckled at the car wash comment ![]() Christine: Super tango dress. Good to see a proper black, dangerous dress, but what were they thinking with the hair? Salsa was weird. Suited the cosmic theme but was perhaps a little too out of this world. Erin: Foxtrot was nice, but blah and similar to one of Lisa's. Paso was amazing dress! She does have some killer ones in her wardrobe. Camilla: Oh Camilla, Camilla, Camilla. Why do so many of your dresses look as though the last scraps of the fabrics have been pieced together? Good colour(s) but wrong. Very wrong. And a special mention for that Feathered Number Lilia wore. Wow! I think most of it was left strewn on the dancefloor. |

Just giving this a bump ready for tomorrow
.I'm not too keen on the dresses shown for tomorrow. Hopefully, Camilla and Erin will dazzle. |

this weekend's dresses...
Rachel: loved the tango dress, for me the best tango dresses are always red or black, however wasn't too keen on her latin dress..not sure about the tassley thing on the front and back, it reminded me of erin's black and white number she wore a few weeks ago (which i wasnt a fan of either) Lisa: didn't particularly like either of her dresses, with regards to her jive outfit i dont really like white dresses in general as they strike me as being a bit tacky..loved her hair for her waltz though ![]() Erin: normally i love the majority of what she wears but i wasn't a fan of her AS dress..too many strange colours mixed together for my liking! i loved the salsa dress tho, great colour and thought the skirt part was especially cool ![]() Camilla: for once, i actually liked her ballroom dress, especially compared to some of the horrible creations she's had on in the past - i thought the colour suited her and i liked the detailing at the top. not a massive fan of her latin dress though what did everyone else think?

My favourite dresses from Saturday have to be; Rachel's Tango and both of Camilla's
.For once this season, I have adored both of Camilla's dresses since the costume department have been very cruel to her lately! I wasn't keen on either of Erin's dresses and I disliked both of Lisa's dresses. Kristina looked amazing during her Hustle preview with Brian. |

I thought Camilla's rumba dress was one of the nicest we've ever seen.

The best this week I thought was Rachel's tango dress. I especially like the way they continued with her netting-frill theme for the ballroom. The shape was a little similar to Lisa's VW one. Very good.
Her cha cha was a bit too similar to Erin's one, as said above, though ok, and otherwise a bit of a different take on the cha cha standard. For the first time, I didn't really like anything Lisa wore. The waltz seemed to suffer from the Jodie excess fabric syndrome, and the Jive was unmemorable. Erin's AS was hideous. Salsa was ok, but again the skirt was a tad similar to Christine's Salsa and Lisa's samba. Liked the colour. Shame her hair wasn't more firmly attached! I actually really disliked Camilla's rumba. Those tassles were just too sparse. Looked like loose bits of thread stuck on. |

The fringey bits made me laugh. It didn't suit her, but it showed she has a great figure and a fine chest.
