I can't believe Hannah didn't make it through
She had the second best voice out of the girls (behind Alexandra).. She never messed up her performances either. Maybe Cheryl thought the prettier girls would make it further... oh well I think she made the wrong decision there.

She had a brilliant voice granted, but her attitude was awful.
I half expected her to come out in a donkey jacket & bovver boots! |

Completely the wrong decision. Can't belive it.
Cheryl just couldn't be bothered to take someone on who needed a bit of work. |

I, at first, didn't understand what people were saying about her look but if you check out the younger more trendsetting districts of Manchester, London, Brighton, Bristol or Leeds - you will see people walking around with their own style and their own look because it is appreciated by like minded people and not those who are exposed to conventional and ordinary dress every day. |

I was disappointed and I'd have had Hannah before Diana. It's just a taste issue, I guess. I prefer Hannah's rockiness to Diana's voice.

It's a shame she didn't get through, I was looking forward to seeing more of her.
However I can see her doing well on her own or fronting a band. I think she's the type that can make it without X Factor. I'd love to see her fronting a good band, she'd be brilliant, |

Apparently she beat up a girl in her hometown.

When I watched the programme I got the impression that Cheryl had to choose between Diana and Hannah - so I understood the decision.
But that was just editing wasn't it? If the last two for Cheryl had been Hannah and Alex - would choosing Alex have seemed the right thing to do? I think not. So the editing is designed to make the judges decsion more believable? |

It's not just about who has the best voice - last year proved that with Leon beating Rhydian - it's about how they can appeal to a record buying public after the show (e.g. Leona) - and Hannah just didn't have 'the look' that the X Factor tends to go for.
Don't just blame Cheryl, blame the people who vote on this each year, and since Brookstein won with the pity vote, two pretty boys and a girl have won... it's not rocket science. Didn't particularly like Hannah's voice personally, sounded like she was trying too hard to put over some kind of rock girl image... if she does have the talent some of you think she has, then no doubt she'll make it big anyway now, following the exposure she's had? She just didn't seem to have as likeable a personality as most of the others, but of course that could be manipulative editing by ITV to promote the people they wanted. |

Great voice but not mainstream enough looking for The X Factor so Cheryl took the easy option.
Danni would probably have picked her given the risk she took by choosing Rydian last year. |

Hannah had a great voice but for Simon she did not fit into his quick cash cow because she didnt have that look. And this is why im watching the show less and less as its more about sob storys, the look or the bloody judges.
It need to get back to been about music like it was on X factor 1 |
