No sob story, no tears, no" i want this sooo much", in fact just 4 kids who enjoy singing together.........sorry lads, you're on the wrong show.

...............and god forbid they might actually have some talent.

......ooops forgot, they are black, so dont worry, they wont last.

Are you seriously suggesting that a) they're the only act that doesn't have a sob story and b) they won't get far because they're black?

Considering Alexandra, considered to be the best singer on the competition, is also black and *shock, horror* has no sob story, it's hard to see where you bizarre theory is coming from...

The only real sob story contestant this year is Daniel. I'd argue the rest of them have got through on the strength of their voices (or other attributes).

Colour has nothing to do with it. Boy bands have never got far on this show. I like them but there isnt a standout vocal. They should last a few weeks though.

My point is they seem to be the only act with,

A. Talent
B. Who just enjoy themsleves without all the "i want this so bad" crap.

Isn't music about enjoying yourself, making you feel good. Its not about crying all the dam time.

Nonsense.

That's the general consensus on this forum. I'm not saying that's the feeling of the general public or indeed that everybody thinks this, but that's just the vibe I've been getting from reading the forum this weekend.

I don't rate their voices tbh. They are OK but I don't see them going very far in the competition. Groups don't tend to do well on the show, especially boybands. It would take a lot for the public to connect with a group and JLS do not seem easy to connect with.

If it was an American talent show, they'd win it hands down. They're excellent.

We'll get another ballad singer, with the odd glory note thrown in, winning it again. Alexandra, probably. In general, the British public don't appreciate subtlety, so Diana's in trouble too.

Sad, but true.

I like JLS, they're a likeable bunch of lads and they're good when they sing together - not sure that they've got a really strong individual vocalist though.

Unfortunately they'll probably get voted off before others who deserve it less because the X Factor public don't seem to go for boy bands.

I think there are people who are falling for her but she's a warbler and a screeching warbler at that. I think the likes of Mariah and Whitney have pinned a strange impression on many people out there.
