Not a fan of his voice. no. I think 'If you leave me now' would suit it though.

Ruth- Crying
glittersteph
06-10-2008
Ruth will do some Shakira (Hips don't lie)

Daniel ..James Blunt (Beautiful) ..has enough lyrics about loving a woman he can't have, to go with his sob story

Rachel , for some reason I can hear her singing "Don't speak" by No Doubt

Wow im trying to imagine that. Could be interesting. Rachels voice is so unique, it's hard to imagine her singing anything without actually hearing her sing it. I struggled choosing her song and just went for that Coldplay song because she owned that Chasing Cars song.

I like the sound of Ruth singing Crying by Roy Orbison (right?)

Eoghan should do Come on Eileen, methinks.

'Crying' is a very difficult song to sing, requiring a very wide vocal range. There is no way Ruth could manage that.

Someone WILL be doing a Rihanna song. I don't think there's any doubt of that. Daniel will probably do Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me or something. Girl Band or Bad Lashes will do 'Genie In A Bottle' the other will do 'Umbrella'.

Infact on second thoughts, although I still think she could handle it, it would be a boring and risky first show song for her. She needs something to leave a mark with.

On the X Factor website it says that Ruth was in a rock band in Spain. Ive also seen a video of her and Mali jamming on a guitar and her voice was so powerful. Maybe she could do T'pau China in your hand or Total eclipse by Bonnie Tyler? I love the quality of her voice when she takes the long notes and China in your hand would be perfect for that.
