I think the bottom 4 there will be gradually eliminated in the first 4 or 5 weeks. There might be a shock among it. The groups are always vulnerable, but this year I think anyone apart from Alexandra and Laura could go in the first half.

But with a few good performances, any of those in the "outside chance" group could quickly turn themselves into contenders. Similarly, a few bad weeks and they'll be heading home.

Lots of depth this year and I have to say, I'm really looking forward to the live shows! Hopefully it will stay wide open until the end.

I think it's gonna be easy to call this year if the performances carry on how they have been.

I think Diana, Austin and Rachel will be the last 3. I think Diana is bloody amazing and they're deliberately not showing us the best of her yet so she retains a certain 'dark horse' quality.

i think Austin, Laura, Alex and Diana are the main contenders, with Ruth and Rachel as possibilities. id love JLS to do well, but these type of bands rarely do well. I have a feeling tho that Eoghan will go far, though i don't see anything special.

I don't get why a lot of people think Diana is going to win, I think she is very, very average. I may not like them all, but you can guarantee that either:

Austin
Alexandra
Eoghan
Rachel
or Laura

is going to win.

I think Laura, Diana, Alexandra, Rachel and Austin are strong contenders.

Daniel and Girlband I can see being out in the first few weeks. But I do think one of the strong contenders will be out halfway through to serve as a 'shock factor' for viewers. It has happened every year, and I can see it happening this year too.
