I'm afraid to say that Simon has gotten the short end of the stick this year.

Austin = Great voice but really unlikeable.
Eugohn = Cute but too young...
Scott (?) = Who?

No doubt he will praise them to the high heavens like he did last year with the awful Hope and Futureproof - when if they were Louis' category they would be too young, bland etc.

I disagree. I think Austin is the strongest act of the final 12 and I think Eoghan will get a lot of support too. Not so sure about Scott, but you never know!

I think Louis has the weakest category. Girlband/BadLashes have no chance of winning. JLS could do well.

Simon's is also weak. The two original judges have the weakest category

I think Dannii by far has the weakest category. Ruth will be voted out really earlier because 98% of the viewers will not know what she is singing, Danny (I like him ) seems to be disliked, and Rachel is a love/hate character, she'll probably go far but I can't see her raking in enough votes to get into the final 5.

4 posts, and 3 out of the 4 categories there are have been named the weakest.

Makes me think even more that Cheryl has it in the bag

I really dont know how Scott got through, Mali was much better than him and should have defo been in the final 3.

Scott will be first out since he's the cannon fodder of that category but the other two could end up as the final 2 ,like last year.

But still I don't think Austin is as good as he is made out to be. He looks like he's shouting every time he sings and the faces he makes are very off putting. I find Eoghan's and Scott's voices far more pleasant to listen to.

I don't think Simon does I think Danni has the weakest category this year don't count Austin and Eoghan out they will have the teen girl vote and eoghan will have the irish vote too all you need is one good act!

Kinda agree with this. Cheryl has the better catergory. perhaps followed by Louis (although I think GirlBand is weak).

I personally think the category is weak, but the boys always do well in the X-Factor. Could anyone have predicted the 2 finalists being 2 boys last year? I definitely think the other categories are better, but judging by x-factors past the boys seem to get through easier...(How did Leon get throught the first week, I'll never understand it!)

Based on what little I've seen of them I think Simon has two of the weakest performers of the 12 (Scott and Eugohn) and one of the strongest (Austin) so whether he has the weakest group depends how you look at it.

I think the groups are least likely to win on principle, though, mainly because groups are harder for the public to get behind than individuals and it's much harder for them muscially, as well (having to coordinate harmonies and multi-part arrangements in such a short period of time).

I don't think he has the weakest group (I think Danni does) but I do have a feeling Scott will go first.

I think that either Simon or Louis will win this year. The front runners are JSL and Austin, and as others have said, you only need one winner.

Although I think the girls are good, I don't think they'll win, I don't think Laura and Diana are to everyone's tastes and I don't know if people will get behind Alexandra.

Althogh Dannii has Rachel, Danny will go soon as he just doesn't have a good enough voice, and Ruth won't last past mid-way through I don't think - I like her but she's over-egging the Spanish already.

Scott was a silly choice for Simon as he's like Austin, but I think Eoghan was good - he's been pretty good all through the comp until he got to Simon's house.

Oh and also, Louis' other two groups are rrrrrubbish!

I really don't understand the JSL thing. Sure they sound good, but they're very mid-90's. And there's groups like them every year and they're out first...Maybe that's why they;ve got os much airtime though. I don't really dig their matching pastel cardigans either

Simons lot are indeed awful. The "crying lad" is instantly unlikeable, he needs to either grow some testicles, or switch to Cheryls team! The young kid - is just a young kid - zero stage presence, and the Butlins guy.... is just a regular Butlins guy.
