Please help.

I have a small problem I hope someone can help me with. Mrs D-J-S has pressed a button over the weekend that now means every time we watch Sky+ through the AV1 connection we have the source constantly displayed in the top left corner of the screen (an icon with AV1 next to it). I have looked through the instruction manual but can find nothing that tells me how I can stop this. Do any of you kind people know?

Maybe if you said what make and model of TV you had we could hazard a guess?

Try pressing the "i+" button on the remote.

Do what Deacon said but make sure you press the TV button (on Sky remote) before pressing the 'i'.

It must be at least a month since someone asked this question - usually there's no more than a couple of weeks between occurrences.

Two ways to do this;

On your Sony remote, look for "i+" or similar, keep pressing untill all the on-screen info goes.

On your Sky remote, press "TV" then "i" - this does the same. Be sure to press "Sky" again afterwards. This is probably how you got it up on the screen originally.

Bob - yes, we've not seen this here for a little while, but saw it over on TheAnswerBank on Friday!!

Maybe it should be a sticky, normally Nigel gets in first

Sorry about that

It's just I'm posting between classes right now.
However, many thanks for the help.
