I've just watched Liam on GMTV and I have to say Simon made a mistake putting Eoghan through instead of him.

Liam is actually a very nice guy, goodlooking and has a very similar sounding voice to Eoghan but unlike Eoghan I think the public would have fell in love with Liam because of his personality and he would have gone really far.

It's not often I disagree with Simon but he made a bo bo here..

Actually, Rikki's elimination was the biggest mistake. I loved that guy.

I think Liam could have done better than Eoghan purely because he looks like Zac Efron/Troy from HSM and so with that popularity, he could have gained scores of votes. But to contradict myself, Eoghan will prob win on the cutesy vote haha

Eoghan is neither very good nor very cute.

Simon knew exactly what he was doing and chose the two who would be the least competition for Austin.

Simon got it totally wrong in my opinion.

Mali and Alan should have gone through instead of Eoghan and that godawful Austin.

Eoghan is so average, I don't get why Simon likes him so much. Liam and the cute kid with the afro were much better.

I liked Liam but he blew it. He sang with no personality whatsoever on Saturday's show and Eoghan deserved to go through based on that.

I thought he made the right choice.. Liam was very average IMO.
