Bad Lashes could be the best group ever.

They have the look, they have the voices, and so far, they have chosen the most riskiest and unconventional songs of everyone (imo), I just hope Louis plays to this and doesn't give them convention girl group songs because they could be absolutely amazing.

I'm longing for the day that X-Factor has a good girl group as that tends to be my favourite type of music. Unfortunately I think even if you get a good girl group (and Bad Lashes definitely has potential) it's extremely difficult in the short time available to get a properly polished performance out of a group.

They have to do a lot more work in terms of the arrangement and harmonies (not to mention technical issues like balancing microphone sound levels) than the individual singers do. There are so many technical areas which, if they get wrong, can make the whole thing sound awful.

Put it this way, if I had to choose who I wanted to win before I heard anyone sing it would be Bad Lashes. Whether that will be the case after I hear everyone sing remains to be seen

Regards

It's very hard for girl groups to succeed at the moment unless they have been around for a long time. The Saturday's are having a real hard time trying to break through. I don't know what's changed about music but Teenage girls (who stats show buy more music) don't seem into girl groups unless they are Girls Aloud or Sugababes. Totally different story 10 years ago when girl groups took over.

I don't think we will ever see another new, really successful girl group for a long time. Sadly.

Bad Lashes were the only ones from the Groups I really wanted to go through. Girl Band are OK, but Desire were awful. Bad Lashes remind me a little of All Saints in 1998, and that can only be a good thing.

Bad Lashes were the best of all 3 girl groups.

I keep calling them Bad Lasses though.

I thought they were called Black Lashes for the first few weeks after seeing them. Which I prefer, actually. But then I wanted Girls Aloud to be called Girls Allowed when they first revealed their name on TV, so I'm clearly an idiot.

Bad Lashes? either somebody sounds pished or there is a BDSM angle that will come out...a few lashes from the cat?

I really like them but JLS are my favourite group, BadLashes are the best girlband I've ever heard on the X Factor though so I hope the go far.

I think their song choices and arrangements were very good in Ireland. Not sure they have one really strong vocalist though, which will probably prevent them getting too far. I do think they'll do better than GirlBand and JLS though.

So far, I don't rate them at all...... maybe things will get better. I prefer Girl Band, although I'm not really into male or female vocal groups, full stop.
