Nothing was ever proven against Emily last year; the mere hint of a bullying scandal was enough for the producers to ask her to leave. As for Rachel, if she admits (has admitted) smoking pot, then she would not be allowed to perform to what is essentially a young public audience.

Lets await the producers "chat".

Life isnt fair. I get that. But it is still okay to point out unfairness, just as it seems ok for you to continually ask me to clarify things Ive already clarified when it's already been explained in previous posts.”

Yeah...I apologise for that. You're right. You do explain a lot...very often...in lots of other posts about Rachel.

You mean apart from the double video evidence, witness statements, police enquiries, her mother's admission and her own confession?

Noone's giving Rachel stick for having a go at another contestant. What people are objecting to are the drug-taking allegations - which have not yet been proven, btw.

As for a single mum "living off society" ... if she worked full time, someone would give her hassle for not being at home for her kids. Single mums can't win, so let's leave that part of her life out of it.

It's the DRUGS that are the potential problem. Why on earth would she take them when she has so much to lose? And I don't mean the X-Factor, I mean her kids.

Are you living in a parallel universe?

She admitted it - and the video was freely available on YouTube.

As a casual viewer and sometimes voter, I think Rachel has the most effortless singing voice and is probably the most naturally talented. Haven't seen the stuff in the papers but see that she's being packaged as the arrogant hate figure this year (a la Rhydian). If anyone can somehow take on a character like that and package them right I think its Danni - she did wonders last year for Rhydian - don't think any of the other judges would have gone down the high camp route with him.

I think Rachel could do okay - only problem is, she's female and a a bit rough around the edges. Won't get into the great reality tv show race debate here. But I think she'll outshine a good few of them this year and will get to the latter stages.

Yeah. A lot of talk along the lines of lazy, sponging, wants something for nothing etc.
So what's she doing now? She's going to give up all that lovely free cash and is hoping to make a career in music. Which is notoriously hard work and long hours etc.
Rather her than me. I'd rather just be given the cash and sit n watch tv if I had the choice.
Kudos to her for going out and trying to find some work. IMO

Perhaps,
but we saw her there when Holly delivered the house warming present .

I'm not sure if she lives close enough to "live" there by day going back and forward to studio rehearsals ,
then be able to go home at night.

We've yet to hear her sing a whole song yet. I'm not altogether sure she can do that. I think she will either be magnificent in the live shows or a car crash.

Her temprement is interesting - all the big divas have temprement. That's why they're divas. That's why Kylie Minogue is not a diva.

Whatever - it will be fascinating to watch on Saturday.

She sang Amazing Grace on ITV1 Bootcamp Sunday, plus the one she sang on ITV2 this Saturday.....the produces chose to show the one she messed up on on ITV1 because it makes better 'TV'

Actually liking Xtra Factor this year now Fern Britton...er Dot Cotton....er Fern Cotton is gone

She will not be kicked out as it is impossible for them to find out whether there is any truth to the allegations.
If in fact Ruth did actually say this it will still be her word against Rachel's (if she denies it) apart from conducting a drug test there is no way to tell whether she has been using it - even if this is done and is positive for cannabis there is still no way to actually know when she used it as it can be detected in the system for a month or so and longer if the hair is used for a test.

There were stories of cannabis use and partying from last years boot camp as well its nothing new it seems.

There may well be no truth in anything that has been said here or in the papers about any contestant but if the press do have anything on any of them they are not going to use it yet but wait until they think that the act is established in the series - for bigger impact.

You can be sure that there will be so called friends of many of the acts already contacting the media with “Do you know this” and “Do you know that” and of course (most important) “How much if I tell you something you don’t know?” Whether or not any of it might actually be true is another matter.

The difference was that Rhydian had a squeaky clean image................no skeletons in the cupboard for him. Rachel on the other hand is not only arrogant but has a very coloured past and I`m sure there are people forming a queue to dish the dirt to the NOTW, Daily Star et al (which won`t exactly help her public image) I don`t think her good vocals will be enough to keep her in towards the end.

Which is why she was right to tell them her past from day one. I'm not saying there won't be people trying to make money out of her or making things up but it's not much of a story for the papers when she has already told us what she's done.

I think if there was any truth to Sunday's story given that boot camps was several weeks ago now. Also we would have heard some rumours by now as they would need to get someone else in this week if they were planning to kick her out.

Hi,

It's Suzie here.

I just wanted to reitterate what I said in an earlier thread ('Suzie Slams Judge' or whatever it was called), that article in the Mirror was complete nonsense. I never slated Dannii or Emma, never complained about all the 'hardwork' all I did was confirm the facts about our stay in St Tropez. I've never criticised the show or anyone on it, and I never would.

Ok, that's all I wanted to say!!

PS - I shared a room with Rachel in St Tropez, and she really is a sweet girl, it just hasn't been shown to you guys yet

Thanks for coming on to tell us that Suzie. Just confirms to me that Rachel is being used by X Factor producers as the 'controversial' character this year.

Very unusual for contestants to come straight onto the forums, what a coincidence:sleep:
