Mali and Hannah for sure missed out although I think Cheryl made a respectable choice still with her final 3. On the other hand it really was foolish for Simon not to put Mali through instead of either Eoghan or Scott but I think Mali will do an Alexandra and return better in a couple of years.

Joelle I still think was a big one that missed out. She truely deserved her place in the final 6 girls even though she was a rough diamond. Just compare her to Amy and Anastacia. That was silly but she will be back.

I hope you're right, I thought he had a really distinct, special voice

Hannah and Mali.

I sympatise with Cheryl though as she had such a strong group.

Mali has a far more pleasant voice than Ashley.

it was 2006- I think you mean Ashley. I liked him too but I preferred Mali's voice in a way.

What bugs me as well is why have they lowered the age? Mali although not perfect, was the best under 16 they have ever had on the show with a very mature, deep voice that showed promise. If he isnt good enough for the live finals then well.. I see no point in having 14 and 15 year olds trying. Unless you happen to look and sound like Eoghan:sleep: *sigh*

In a way, although I'm sorry that Mali didn't get through, the thought of him winning and then having to record some formulaic pop song is not a good one. He seems a sensible well-balanced lad and his dad's in the business. I'm sure he'll reappear sooner or later, hopefully able to pursue an appropriate path to suit his individuality.

Hannah. I was completely under Cheryl's spell until she dropped Hannah, how you tell someone they are one of the strongest vocally and then drop em

Hannah rocks

I agree about Hannah, she had a really fabulous voice and a great look, but obviously not the look they wanted

Also what is the point of having 15 year olds if they constantly say they're "not ready yet" or "come back in a year or two"?
Mali was far superior vocally to Eoghan imo, I hope he does come back next year.
