That is my problem i don't really understand what the differences are. I believe 1080 is the number of lines?
Sorry for being a Numpty. |

The free 5 year guarantee is certainly worth having - I'm having a nightmare with Samsung regarding the total breakdown of a TV which is 19 months old

Sorry for being a Numpty. 32" is relatively small so unless you sit close to the TV (closer than 6'-7' certainly) then you get no benefit from the high resolution and you could in theory save money by getting a lower resolution one. Looking at the John Lewis site though that is the cheapest 32" TV they do, it won't be such a good quality as the lower resolution one at £100 more but it will still be a decent TV I would have thought. Panasonic is a good brand and the TV is likely to be okay so if you fancy that one then go for it, it's a low risk especially with the JL guarantee. Depending on your viewing distance the TX32LXD80 is likely to give an equivalent picture quality at a reduced price but JL don't seem to sell this one. |

The TX32LZD80 is Which? magazine's number 1 top-rated TV.
They say "This is as good as flat-panel TVs get at present". John Lewis is their number 1 top-rated online retailer and has been for several years. |

Hi,
I found a review on the TV and a link where you can compare the prices of it as you can get it for £540 on Amazon. -http://www.techradar.com/products/audio-visual/tvs-and-accessories/tvs/panasonic-tx-32lzd80-319749/review Panasonic is a good brand for TV's but I would also recommend you the Sony Bravia KDL-32D3000. 32 inch, Widescreen, LCD, Sony Bravia Engine. |

Its not a bad TV but John Lewis is a tad on the expensive side, personally with 600 quid i'd go for the Samsung LE32A656 which is a 32inch TV with some great reviews. pocket-lint.co.uk have scored it 9 out of 10.

For that money I'd go for a 37" 1080p Toshiba like this one:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Toshiba-37XV...3996758&sr=1-2 for £530 |
