Sorry if this has been discussed before, but I noticed that Panasonic are due to broadcast v1.14 Firmware next week:

Does anyone know what the current firmware version is? I.e. is this a repeat or new version. My DMR-ES20D is currently hibernating in its box otherwise I would check myself.

According to that site, it is only provisional and not a repeat.

As I understand it:

Provisional status is reported until DTG have carried out their tests. Once they are happy the status should change to New

It is new ... and believe me you need to ensure you get it.


It is to address the 'Split NIT' problem.

If you don't you stand a very good chance of having tuning problems in the future.

Today, the status has changed to 'New'

Brilliant just recived the update now have all channels in correct order again as they have been all over the place for a while. Good work Panasonic good to see they support their products even after nearly 3 years this has been a brilliant recorder & given great service very reliable

For those that missed this update last time round (like me), It's scheduled to be repeated next week.
