Giving a cat tablets?

If you can get the pill right at the back of their mouth, it's even better.

My current cats are a complete nightmare to administer pills to, but my previous one was a doddle! I just held the pill above his head & he'd stand up on his back legs and snatch the pill off me!

my vet said to rub cats throat after giving a tab & it makes them swallow. It works when i do it anyway.

I couldn't even get eye drops into a 9 week old kitten ! ( all over her nose .. )

Will I have to give them some when they get fixed ?

I shouldn't think so, I find eardrops and especially eyedrops the hardest to administer compared to tablets, so don't worry.

We used to have to clean our cat's teeth with cat toothpaste, she loved it. So when it was time to take a tablet, we'd crush it up and mix it into some toothpaste and I'd rub it all over her teeth.

Worked a treat as she'd lick it all off.
