I love lamb, my favourite meat closely followed by beef.

Hey katia,they were lovely.

i did them with homemade garlic wedges and roasted carrots and broccolli.

our local butcher makes his own and their well worth the extra money.

im going to try venison and redcurrant next.

Tell me how you cooked them.
I bought some venison sausages from my butcher, but I think I might have overcooked them.

i'm lazy with sausages, and just tend to normally do them with mash and onion/mushroom gravy or in a casserole.

i know what you mean about butchers sausages too, nothing like the supermarket ones. And such a random variety too. We pick up different ones each week.

Sounds wonderful.

I do like sausages from the butchers when I'm in a sausage mood.

Just about all sausages are "cheap"; that's the whole point of sausages. All the premium sausages from M&S,Waitrose etc are just as gristly.

My local butchers make the most gorgeous cumberland sausages delicious cooked in the oven and served with mash and onion gravy.
