Bottom two - in the even of a tie...
I presume it will then go to who had the least public votes.
Wouldn't it be better to have a public vote every week in that case? |

it would be nice to see the public vote like they used to do on stars in your eyes with that board thing that used to come up and show how many votes each act had. That might help with the its fixed comments that come up all the time.

And I don't know why they would even be concerned at the fixed comments, usually from Daily Star readers, when OFCOM investigated the past 3 series and found nothing wrong at all. They saved "deadlock" for a later stage last year to add some drama. The judges vote adds some excitement to the whole thing as well. On Strictly and now American Idol, they have 4 judges and the decision is made by the head judge (Len or Simon) but because of the competition element in X Factor, that wouldn't work. |
