Gin
I was 16 but looked older. Bought a bottle of gin and sat in my room listening to my Bronski Beat album (record!), mostly to Smalltown Boy. Got totally pis*** and cried. Went downstairs and told my mum I was gay.

Chips
Age 14. Parents had no money. Holiday in Lowestoft and was last night of the week. We all walked about 8 miles and my dad said we could have a small portion of chips. I can still taste the grease on my lips.

Chocolate
Age 6, Christmas. Sitting on the worktop in the kitchen almost wetting myself with excitement as was my turn to get the chocolate from the advent calendar. As I had 2 sisters we had to take turns hence I got a chocolate every 3 days.”

Oh gosh this post daint half make me laugh! Love it!!

Mmm. Next time you have a dinner party I'm in!

I don't think I could possible choose one meal to survive on for ever! Perhaps a days worth of meals- Full english breakfast, steak for lunch and Sri Lankan Chicken with Keema Pillau and garlic naan for tea. So healthy!!

Perfect Chips - Homemade or Bought depends on the mood

A Selection of meats - Ribs, Fried Chicken, Roast Lamb and Steak with a Whisky & Peppercorn Sauce

Sparkling Fruit Juice

Thornton's Toffee Cake

If I can get away with that then yeah I think I could tolerate that for the rest of my days. Assuming I'd suffer no adverse effects.

I can't decide between cauliflower cheese, caesar salad or my Mam's Veggie Lasange...

Needless to say, copious amounts of wine will be involved too

If I could eat that every day for the rest of my life, without putting on weight, I'd be a happy bunny.
