I did not think she sounded too bad, but I do think her looks helped her get in the band. Her voice has improved since then though.

Not taking anything away from her success but that wasn't great and on vocal ability she wouldn't crack it now - however, on looks she probably would have a better chance than some better singers.

Wasn't it just the initial audition ?

She sounded great on the proper LIVE shows as I remember.
