Anyones Dog had acupuncture or hydrotheraphy

Our Staffie has had to have both her back legs operated on over the past year due to displaced knee caps & snapped cruciate ligaments she also has a touch of arthritis and the OH has suggested we take her for some alternative therapy - I think it may be a good idea apart from the fact she is really excitable an was wondering if anyone on her had tried either acupuncture or hydrotherapy

My dog had hydrotherapy over a period of a few months, after a back injury temporarily paralysed him from the neck down. During his recovery (which is about 95%) the hydrotherpy really helped, exercising muscles which otherwise would have deteriorated rapidly.

It cost £18.00 per session (about 3 years ago), and that included the hydrotherapy, a doggy jacuzzi (to warm down the muscles) and a blow dry

If you have any questions, I'll help if I can.
