Problem adding MP4 files to iPod
Hey guys,
I had a load of avi files which I have successfully converted to MP4's using Videora. These seem to play fine within iTunes itself. However, when I come to sync iTunes to my 5th Gen iPod is says that the files cannot be played on my iPod. Now i've already done a bit of research and it seems that although the files have been converted ok, the correct 'atom' wasn't added to the files during conversion which tells iTunes that the file is compatible with a 5th gen and below iPod.Apparantly this can be rectified by using a piece of software called nicmp4box. However, in order to do this you have to type in various comand lines etc to to be honest I have had zero luck in doing it!! Has anyone had any experience of this and could give me a quick step by step walkthrough? Cheers |

If you've still got the originals why not just convert them properly to start with?

wasn't added to the files during conversion which tells iTunes that the file is compatible with a 5th gen and below iPod.
