Most seem fixated on Austin and Eoghan atm, lets not forget our very own dark horse Scott. Who I think may steal the show as each week progresses, and it's refreshing to not hear a sob story, ok only a little one about giving up his 'bluecoats' job .

What have they done to Scott? All the finalists have been given a makeover in time for the live shows. They have made Scott, Eoghan and Austin look too effeminate. If the boys posted these latest pictures on a dating site, they would get some very odd replies.

^ Glad someone finally got round to starting one - I think he's about the only person in the final 12 not to have an appreciation thread! I think he could be good too but a lot depends on song choices in the early weeks.

I'm really pleased that he has his own thread now, there's just something about him that I like.

I like him too, he's got a very gentle yet powerful voice. I wish we could have heard more than 2 secs of him singing Hallelujah as his second song at Bootcamp ....it sounded fantastic. He seems to be a bit of an underdog on the polls and 'Your top 12' type threads, but I think he will quietly surprise everyone and do well.

All they have done is put him in a black fashionable shirt - how is that making him effeminate? Ironically he is also the most masculine looking.

Yes, we don't seem to have heard much, he never even got to the chorus on "Lost" either. I don't know if he can beat the competition, (and not sure I want him to beat Laura who is my other favourite), but he should be higher up the field.

"I can't make you love me" was really good at Simon's house, quite an emotive performance. I can see him connecting well with the audience.

He needs to watch his tuning sometimes, but that should be easily fixed.

love scott he has the likeability factor but he also has the voice, if given the right songs with the right arrangements hell go far this lad.

Time to show some support in advance of tomorrow nights show! From what I can glean from various threads it seems that from the 'clues' each act has hinted at, it seems Scott will be singing " a 60's number with a modern twist " ........ Any ideas anyone ?

No idea on the song but I'm rubbish at cryptic clues! Hope he does a great performance though!

Scott's my favourite of the guys this year, Austin comes across as too desperate for me, and I don't think Eoghan's ready yet, I don't even think his voice has broken yet.

Plus Scott is rather beautiful!!

Have a funny feeling that Scott and Diana are there as Austin and Laura's 'counterparts' to help with tactical eliminations, but I have a funny feeling it might also backfire. I'm all for that because Scott's got a nice voice and he's real purdy.

Felt really sorry for the guy, bless him. He tried his best there and really wants it. We've seen his tranformation, and it's hard watching them get negitive feedback x

Oh they set him up for a fall. Some of them get a great set up and then they sabotage others.
