The theme is Michael Jackson.

The guests are Girls Aloud.

Don't know whether I like that theme.

I don't like Michael Jackson songs...

I predict Earth Song for Ruth if she is still there.

I can see a couple of the girls struggling with that theme

That's an odd choice. A lot of his songs don't really work very well when they're sung by other people. Maybe I'm just not being imaginative enough.

It's also quite odd for them to restrict the theme to a specific artist if that artist isn't involved in the show as a mentor or guest performer. Maybe he'll be mentoring? I honestly can't imagine that happening though.

I predict BEN for Eoghan

I wonder if anyone is going to do Billie Jean, AI style (Chris Cornell version)....

Great!
Michael's got a great voice so this will be intersting to hear.

I'm surprised Cheryl's group will perform.
I thought it was a joke.
Shame that she would cash in like this.
That's somewhat disappointing.

God I hope not, David's way to big an act to follow where Billie Jean is concerned, can't see any of the men being able to pull that off.

Very odd choice but what's the betting Rachel get's 'Beat It'
that would suit her voice quite well.

But I'm stuggling to pick songs for the rest.

Egg-Owen might get 'Heal The World'

Michael Jackson? Interesting....
No one can really do MJ but MJ, maybe Ruth will get Earth Song as its a dramatic, stirring piece of music
Daniel may get You Are Not Alone.
Eoghan may get Ben (or Heal The World).

oh good mj week, that will really test their voices to the max then early on, as mj music is really hard to sing if you dont have a good enough range and hope we will see the ones who should go early and not have some stay in longer than they should just coz they are liked (but not for singing)

oh also i think this week has been pick so thatsimon can have austin sing (she's out of my life) but we will see...

Noooo! Suddenly it becomes obvious why all the male finalists this year have high voices. No variety at all.

Brilliant choice and a huge repertoire to choose from. You don't need a high voice to sing a Jackson song e.g. the recent covers of Smooth Criminal and Beat It.
