My first time of posting!! Bit miserable though

Just lost our house and money is virtually non existent at the mo. and had to cancel the pet insurance. My dog needs an operation to remove a lump on his back so I approached the pdsa as when solvent I used to have a monthly dd donating to them plus sold raffle tickets etc. etc. but evidently because I'm not claiming benefit they won't even consider my dog. Our vet would charge about £430 for the op. plus £30 for the lump to be tested. Has anyone got any ideas or point me in the right direction of who I could approach?

Hi Squeakly, sorry about your problems, wish I could help more. Have you tried all the other charities, like the RSPCA, or even asking the vet if you could pay a bit Monthly?

Thanks for that - a work colleague suggested the Blue Cross so I might try that too
