Tomorrow i am going to get a new phone and after looking around i cant decide between the Blackberry or Iphone. I am on o2 if that helps.

I would love an Iphone but i am concerned about Battery life as i dont want to be out late at night and it dies and i cant make calles.

So what are others opinions ?

This thread could turn nasty

Look at what you need from a smartphone, compare the specs, design etc, try and demo them in store then make a decision based on what you prefer!

You dont state what you need from a phone either, but dont be surprised if this turns in to a iphone v blackberry war :bored:

my iphone didn't make it through yesterday without running out of power. undocked at lunchtime, surfing at the cafe for about 30 mins, some phone calls, my niece played with the lightsabre and super monkey ball for about 15 mins, checked my location and a route for a couple of mins, and it ran out of power before i got home at around 10pm.

Well to be fair i dont really need much. I have a k800i SE at the moment and to be fair i never even do much on that. I just like cool phones. I love the sexy look of the blackberrys but i love the fact the Iphone is also an Ipod. Hence me still going between the two.

You can eat a blackberry when you get peckish but an Iphone does not sound very appetising.

Blackberry's are reknowned for their battery life, however the bold on 3G is quite interesting, it lasts the day which is the main thing, on 2G its battery life is amazing......I think with firmware updates eventually they will iron out the issue. It's their first 3G handset in this region so it will take a wee bit time to settle. Currently pushing 2 days on mine so far...

You could get a Blackberry Bold 9000 now and you won't regret it.

Or you could wait for the Storm to launch on Vodafone which is the Touchscreen UI model of the bold in essence. However with no WiFi the Bold still wins it for me.

I think Storm tho looks really expensive and seems to look like an iphone in its design so dont think i will get a storm. I will check out the bold tomorrow.

I suspect when the Storm launches it will be the same price more or less as the Iphone on an 18 month contract, if it is that willo win it for me.

Vodafone have already said it will have to be on a 24month Contract apparently. But we shall wait and see.
