is it just you wanting people to think rachel is a terrible person? cos making us think that it does feed the doubters and they will make it something big like she cant stay there cos shes done this this and this.

If I had a pound for everytime some-one said "I know some-one who works on the show", i'd be rich.

OK to be fair, I can see where that could be true. Like an above poster said, maybe she cant live away from her kids! But if that was the case, how come she went to the judges home and to bootcamp y from her kids?
Legal reasons? She not on probation, she has served time for any crime she might have commited, so thats impossible.
And furthermore, she was in the house! So to say that, when we clearly showed her in the house, I dont believe it. ANd lastly, I believe the host of the show who stated how will you girls fair with 13 of you on this floor, and just 2 bathroom!

So that theory, to me isnt true!

I don't I don't at all. I met her yesterday she's lovely. I'm not trying to paint her in a bad light at all. Honestly. Everyone knows he's been in prison and didnt have the best of pasts but that doesn't make someone a bad person. it might be (and really this is purely speculation) that she has to be at a permanent address. Which the Xfactor house wouldn't be. But I dont know because I dont know enough about her past whatever..and who cares.

All I will say is that she has a great voice, she is genuinely a really nice person and down to earth and I wish her the best of luck tonight.

Nope Ruth and Alex are in with one of the girlbands, I think it was Girl Band.

Laura and Diana are sharing a room with just each other, JLS are in with Daniel and the three boys are sharing. I think Rachel may be in with Bad Lashes but I'm pretty sure Holly said on Xtra Factor that they (Bad Lashes) were in a room on their own.

I can't stand Rachel! She comes across as such a annoying person and she really has such a bad attitude!

Yes she was seen downstairs in the house with the others but not upstairs, also did you notice last night when they all did their little words about the act to leave she was shown outside somewhere, whereas everyone else was shown in the house.

btw why did she have to keep chatting when Holly was interviewing others last night?

Because they all have to get used to the live show format. She certainly wasn't the only one who carried on talking when the topic of conversation had moved away from them.

Anyway I can see it being absolutely true that Rachel can't stay in the house, and for good reason, for herself and her kids.

Considering the fact she has had three children taken into care, then adopted, I would hazard a guess she probably has special monitoring to ensure her kids are ok, this can be something that goes on for years after whatever the initial cause was has been resolved (say drug addiction or time spent in prison).

If she moved into the X-Factor house for up to 3 months (the duration of the live shows) that would be tantamount to abandoning her kids (in the black and white eyes of the law) and could cause serious problems for her.

Much easier to live at home, pop by the X-Factor house for filming and not have any hassle with the Child Protection Agency (or someone similar).

To be perfectly honest I'd be surprised if she WAS living in the X-Factor house rather than the fact that she isn't. I think her kids are more important to her than that.

Sorry to bring this up...again. She told me herself she wasn't living at the house. She's living at her permanent address.

I made this post in the thread about the alleged Ruth/Rachel argument.

I instantly dismissed this story as yet another publicity stunt.

(I missed it last night).

We got to see thier bedrooms who's sharing with who etc,

Girlbands room had 4 beds

Laura/ Diana sharing a room with a bunk bed

The badlashes/Alexandra/Ruth bedroom does seem overcrowded.



The only girl we did n't see settled in a bedroom was Rachel.

Did she have her own room because she was initially to share with Ruth ?

So not a friend of a friend then, hmm.

No because i spoke to her and asked her out right.

I'm not going to bother to fight my corner. I know what was said to me and by whom.

And tbh does it really matter if she lives in a house with everyone or not? She's still going to be there on saturdays singing her song...so whether she wakes up next to ruth or her kids doesn't make a difference!

Good point. surely all that matters is how she performs not where she sleeps etc
