Who are you voting for?
In tonight's episode who will you be voting for?
I think I will be voting for Laura White, 3 times but it depends who tickles my fancy tonight. Please write who'll you be voting for and how many times. |

How can you say before you've actually heard their performance?

This is the problem with Xfactor! How can you say who youre voting for, before they even sing? WHich means that the people that get the coverage during bootcamp, automatically get votes without even singing! Thats why people like Leon made it past the first few weeks, even though they stunk up the place.
Its a joke . I have my favorites, but if they suck on the Live show, no way am I gonna vote for them! SOme people actually decide to vote, if a singer did badly!

I would rather wait to hear them perform first - who knows, it could be surprising who impresses you.
It seems too early to say, after all if anyone had told me I would end up liking Leon after his first performance last year I would have laughed out loud.

I'll be voting for Laura , and maybe Diana depending on her performance. |

I shan't be voting for anybody and being asked before they've actually performed is slightly mystifying anyway.

From what i've seen i really really like Diana's voice. I'm a huge jeff buckley fan and I loved her version of Hallelujah. Hope she does really well tonight...and if she does...she'll have my vote.

But the point of xfactor is to be able to perform in front of a live studio audience. There are artists that record really well, but they cant sing live! And there is only one winner, so it should be the best live performer! Others will get recording contracts regardless of how they do in the show!
True , but if you're...say a rock performer , are you really gonna perform an ABBA song live post X Factor? So if you perform it badly on the show is that really representative of your talent? |

Youre required to be able to sing everything, thats why the winner should be multi talented. If not it wouldve been a show like rockstar supernova. I remember American Idol where Chris Daughtry I thought was the best, but there was a week, where the songs were Elvis Prestley I think. He struggled and got eliminated. But in the end, he is the most succesful in record sales off that series!

My favourites before the live show are...
Cole's Girls and JLS However I'm gonna see how they go first as someone may completely go to pieces or shine during the live shows. Look at the Unconventionals |

It didn't have the power of emotion of say the versions by Allison Crowe or Kathryn Williams IMO of course. I haven't heard enough of her to form too much of an opinion yet though.
