I just found out that the theme for week 2 is Michael Jackson songs. Girls Aloud will also be performing on the results show.

Should be a good one that! So, what songs do you think/would like to hear the various contestants sing of MJ's?

MJ, one of my favourite singers of all time.

His week should be fun. Not sure at this point who among the contestants can really do Michael's songs befitting justice though.

But I'm sure they'll all give it their best shot and we could be in for some pleasant surprises.

Can't wait!

Yep, there's such a wealth of choice in his songbook so I think you're right... we could be in for some pleasant surprises.

Makes a change from Abba I guess.

Hope to god they scrap the swing/big band thing this year.

Ben for the Irish kid without a doubt.

Assuming he survives of course, I don't think you will see much from him apart from soft ballads.

Course he could shock us with I predict a riot one week

OMG me too! I used to play that track to death when I was a kid.
I'm not sure it's right for Alexandra though.

Why thank you! So do you.

I only say that because it's quite high in parts and I think Alex would do more justice to something with a lower end given how rich her voice is on those low notes.

Man In The Mirror is my fav Michael Jackson song, hope someone sings that, wonder if they'll allow Jackson 5 songs because I'll Be there would be a great choice for Jls, someone should also sing One Day In Your Life.

I wonder if someone could do a David Cook and do a stunning different interpatation of a Michael Jackson classic, maybe Diana could do that, quite possibly Smooth Criminal

They should do a Madonna theme or an 80s theme
