I like the use of characters. Everyone seems to be used very well. There's a few hangers on at the moment that need dropped eg Kelly. But everyone else seems to have had thier turn in the spot light recently. Even Janice has had a storyline.
She also seems to be open about her mistakes. Keeping Daryl on, wanting to bring Teresa back etc... |

I think she is doing a good job. Plenty more to do but let's just say it has come a long way since the beginning of the year.

I think she's doing very well so far. I have my reservations about the storyline re: Hayley's return, but I will reserve judgement on that until I watch it.

I think she has turned it round. She came in at the right time because had it been any longer it may have been harder to put all the wrongs right!

Yes she is. Better than Diederick Santer.

![]() Although certain bits are questionable. Hayley's new 'boyfriend' for instance and the extension of Anthony Cotton's and Sam Aston's contracts. |

I think she's doing a fine job, and is a welcome addition to Corrie. It's been given a much needed boost, and I love how she's involving several characters in many of the storylines.

Right here is my big run through...
The Ups I think the axing's of the Mason's was the correct decision. Though I enjoyed Liz and Harry and Dan has been interesting, I just don't think their characters suit Corrie. They just didn't seem to have that Corrie feel. Clarissa was an odd one, she could have worked or could have been awful full time, thankfully we didn't have to sit through it. I also think it was right Morton's left. Even though they have given us some good drama over the last few months. I think only Daryl (and Teresa (I firmly believe she will be back next year)) was the only one worth keeping and that would continue to be interesting. Mel could have worked but the actress was quite annoying at times. I was a bit hot and cold with Jerry while the kids were awful. I must also say Marcus and Vernon's exits I actually enjoyed. I think Roger was also a good axing decision. I think she also axed Paul Clayton and Lauren (Violet's sister) two boring, pathetic badly acted characters. Even John Stape's return seems to be shaping up well. Liam's exit will be good, it involves so many characters and will lead to such a long winding plot (Maria's pregnancy, Alison's pregnancy leave etc) And it looks like a genuine gripping storyline. Jackie's return, the Molly&Tyrone wedding storyline and the arrival of Aunt Pam. All four are/were good characters and fill their scenes amazingly. Especially Molly, she is a character to watch. The return of Jed Stone worked really well and hopefull will do the next time around, Peter Barlow and Hayley Cropper are also good returns. A few more would go down well eg Sunita, Karen and Debbie Webster. As well as Pam another two new arrivals who are great are Ted and Joe who have totally refreshed the Platt family, I'm not sure if they were introduced by her but you can tell they are developing well under her control. Julie is also great. Everyone seems to have more screen time recently and it's not just David, Gail, Connors and Steve in the main plots everyweek know. Development of the characters is great too from Becky - Julie - Lloyd - Dev - Amber - Daryl - Sophie - Janice - Roy - Molly and Pam Maria has come into her own again recently as well and I can't wait to see Samia carry off the pregnancy/Liam's exit plot. Liz has come alive again and really become watchable again. I loved the Emily/Norris/Rita plot the other week too, as well as the Becky stuff last week. Hopefully more Wiki soon too, that would make me very happy. Also showing that the characters have a life out of the street eg Kelly clubbing last week. The Downs Keeping on Kirk, Ches, Fiz, Ashley, Claire, Michelle, Ryan, Tom, Kelly and Sean. Lack of Wiki, Betty, Blanche, Eileen and Jack. The Michelle/Steve/Becky/Jason love triangle storyline. It's crap. Even Simon and Katherine can't save this one. It's just not enjoyable at all for some reason. The new family (who haven't arrived, I'm just not looking forward to them and we don't really need a new family at all) and Nina, she's crap, Prem's okay and not seen enough of Tara yet. Overall the good out numbers the bad. |

I think the actress is also pregnant, so will no doubt disappear for a few months.

I think she's done a pretty good job, considering the task she had in hand. It's unfair to compare her with Santer, because they've both had similar tasks to pull their soaps out of slumps and they've both done well, but remember Santer virtually did it instantly, whilst Crowther has been building up storylines and characters for ages, such as Tony and his killing of Liam.
One's thing's for sure - 2009 is to be the most important year in soap for a while with EastEnders and Corrie hopefully both on a high and Hollyoaks on their tracks (possibly even better, but they don't get the same recognisation). Emmerdale will have to raise its game to even compete with the other three soaps. |

She's doing well so far, obviously there are still a few little niggles, but there always will be.
![]() She's really bringing characters we haven't seen much for a while back into the centre of the show and she even seems to have toned Michelle down a little.

Corrie's better than it was before but that's not hard. It was in such a mess before that any improvement would come across as god sent.
The show is showing a lot of promise but I still think the cast is too big. Having such a large cast means quite a number of characters go underdeveloped and become dead wood. And although I'm enjoying the Liam story, it's more because I know he's going to be dead by the end of it. Can't stand the Connors. They should have kept the Mortons on who were at last becoming interesting before their exit thanks to Teresa. This new family doesn't inspire confidence with a surname like Windass. I'd rather they had kept the Mortons instead. |

How on earth can you judge a family based on their surname?
In fact I can't remember the last family Corrie introduced who were a hit. The Battersbys maybe in 1997, they caused the biggest stir, but then not everyone took to them straight away either. I'm prepared to give this new lot a chance but we'll see. |

I think so far she is doing a fantastic job. Getting rid of the mortons and the masons was a good idea in the end.
steve frost left corrie in such a mess but i think kim crowther has manged to pull i out of the slums and its beginning to fell like corrie again!

I would like the following actor/actress's to go IMO:
Janice Battersby (too much shouting) Dev Prem Nina Julie (not convicing enough) Theresa Maria Sean Tom Kelly (not used enough in corrie) Leanne Love: Auntie Pam Kirk (more funny one lines please) Molly Carla Eileen Steve I do like everyone else, the above are some of my favourites. |
