What do you reckon?
I'm going for the paintball one as it is the least obvious! |

Hit and run, without a doubt. The other two clearly leave Tony as a suspect, hit and run puts him out of the frame completely and allows him to continue his reign of terror. Plus in the timeline of events outlined by Gray in his DS interview it makes the most sense - and from all the press pics it's the only scenario set at night. I can't imagine the murder being in broad daylight - this is a soap opera! Night scenes = dramatic.

Have you heard about the secret 4th version?
Tony ties him from the top of a cliff, and shoots arrows at him as he runs through the red wreck |

Hope it will be the Gun one, but I'm sure its the hit and run - I'd be disapointed if it was the balcony one.

I'm pretty sure it's the hit and run, especially seeing as Gray says Jimmy helps him kill Liam. Also, his body is found when it's dark

Oops I didn't realise there was already a thread on this. I agree with Agent F...I posted this one another thread...it's pretty much a much more waffly version of what Agent F said: Quote:
.....the hit and run!!!
Of course, this is just speculation on my part! But I'll explain my thinking behind it anyways. Most of my assumptions are based on the Digital Spy interview Gray O'Brien (Tony). He mentions first of all that whatever ending is chosen has no effect on the aftermath, which acknowledges fans' previous concerns about the authenticity of these "alternative endings" claims and stresses that 3 ending genuinely have been filmed. However I'm still skeptical. He mentions what we already knew, about the 5 episodes focussing on the one day, but he mentioned sequence of events as well: Roy's for breakfast, the paintballing trip, then a city centre bar, a curry house and a lap dancing bar. I think this rules out the paintballing ending, as the paintballing is way too early in the "day" and I don't think they would kill Liam off too early on in the episodes. It would also mean the stag do coming to abrupt end and I doubt they would film all the scenes in the bar, club etc as well as scenes for the aftermath of the murder. That said, I think Corrie will trick the viewers into thinking that Tony is going to kill Liam during the paintballing. Possibly the cliffhanger at the end of the 8:30 Monday episode will be Tony pointing the gun saying "game over Liam," only to come back on Wednesday and have the viewers realise it is completely innocent? The pushing off the balcony ending is a complete red herring as the way Gray O'Brien describes it, it happens late at night, and the pictures have been taken during the day, so I think we can rule that one out completely. It would be very clumsy on screen as well. I think that leaves the hit and run!! It could make for a very sinister ending as well with the Tony Gordon masks and Liam dieing in Tony's arms at the end. What do you think? |

Yes the flat one wouldn't make sense, Ashley would see it and possibly also Bill and Jason if they were in the yard. I'm sure their is CCTV round about as well.
As for the paintballing... just doesn't make sense at all because it would have to be one of the people on the team...making it only Tony as the possible killer and the police would arrest him. As for the hit and run. It would mean that all the Connor men would die in car accidents. Paul died in a car, Liam would have been knocked down and Michelle's ex hubby died in a car smash (even though he wouldn't be a Connor). Let's hope Ryan and Alex die next, together . Michelle could get a loan of Sharon Rickman's black coat in that case. Though the only thing that confuses me about that is how does Tony get back to the scene so soon. As we know he definately kills Liam. I would love their too be a huge twist and it's Tom that kills him. I don't know why but it would be great viewing. With Tony planning to kill him but Tom getting their a step earlier.

I think its the thrown off the balcony at the flats one!
Don't know why, but perhaps because this could look more like an accident than being shot whilst playing paintball (surely the police would be looking for a gunman) and the hit and run (surely agin the police would be looking for the driver) - but hey saying that it is soapland afterall! This link says 'Liam's Balcony Death' - it's either a major slip-up by someone in the I.T department, or it's there to 'fool' us
