I agree with you - the levels on the vocals are too low sometimes and don't do the singers justice.

I personally thought so. Maybe its what SC wants!
I always get frustrated with the live shows. I love the auditions and build up, but when it gets to the finals. Im bored sh1t less |

Yeah the sound or background noise or something is way too loud!

It seems to be inconsistent for certain singers .... unless the one's that we can't hear are really that bad.

Definitely something up with the sound, even Dermot sounded echoey at times.

Terrible sound tonight. Some suffered because of this but it actually helped a couple of them by blending their bad singing into the backing.

Some of it was down to the contestants, perhaps not comfortable with the microphones, backing tracks and other elements of being on the live shows. Sometimes I think the sound was a bit crap as well, though.

It totally ruined the whole show for me tonight
![]() I can't even say for certain how the contestants performed tonight as the sound was so bad. The judges and studio audience seem to have enjoyed the show though. They were obviously hearing something different to what I was! |

I thought they all sounded quieter than the music. Plus the massive use of backing vocals didn't help in actually hearing the singers.

![]() Hi, thought the sound was louder than many of the singers. I think some of them are weak vocally especially at the start of a song. Diana got lost somewhere when the music started but she made up for it later. One thing I've noticed over the years in XFactor is if a judge doesn't want a particular singer to get through the sound gets messed up, and not just in XFactor but it happened in Fame Academy too. Daniel has a nice voice but his music was louder than his voice, which I found sus. |
